Hello everyone. Normally I'm used to pencils, fineliners and just recently the 'pressure sensitive' WACOM pen to do my illustrations with but occasionally I like to grab big fat paintbrush, dip it in a big ol' bucket of paint and do my thing on bigger canvases like, for instance, walls! This next piece was done while I was away in the States (you know America). I was asked if I could liven up wall and this was the result.

The method? There really isn't a set plan on how to do this. You just draw what comes to mind. Just know that you only get one try on this, because it's paint! It doesn't have much of an erasable chracacteristic.
What works? Close the door behind you, put up a big fat 'do not disturb or I'll shoot you' sign, open a window, play some loud music and start cracking away. That's what works for me. But you have to see for yourself what works for you! Enjoy!

Hey guys! It's been a while since my last update. A lot of things have happenned in between projects. For example I recently became a proud member of the driving community and boy was I happy! I don't know how it's in other countries but earning your license will cost you an eye and a rib in this little part of the world. I've also added another year to my 'yet to be determined' lifespan which I celebrated with my loving family. I enjoyed it very much (Thank you dear, 4 everything). I also ran a marathon just recently with my kid (For a 5 year old kid, running a full 1000 meters and then some, without making any stops and overtaking other runners, makes me kinda proud!). Back to my post of today. This piece right here was inspired by a certain style of martial art I recently seen portrayed in a movie by Donnie Yen which I think was quite impressive (If you don't know who Donnie Yen is then WIKI him!).

The surge of inspiration I got from the movie gave me the ablity the draw this in under half an evening. It's pretty standard, though fun to draw. The steps were (1) sketch (2) ink (3) tone (4) effect. I would say...Enjoy!
